Iron Galaxy Studios, which is perhaps best known as the developer behind the 2013 version of Killer Instinct, announced Rumbleverse during last year’s Game Awards, describing the 40-person, melee-focused battle royale game as “big, hilarious playground where spectacular things are always happening”. Posted to r/gamingleaksandrumours over the weekend, the images - reportedly taken in July 2021 - have been deemed authentic by the subreddit’s moderating team. If true, this means the new racing instalment will be coming to Xbox One as well as Xbox Series X and PC (thanks, Dualshockers). Up until this point, it has not been confirmed as a cross-gen title and while we, naturally, need to wait for official confirmation either way, if true it’s quite a surprise from developer Turn 10....

But the cinematic trailer also teases something bigger: “With Nebula, the Nazis had unwittingly shaken something awake, something far more powerful and fearsome than anything we could ever hope to comprehend.” Fans have speculated that the trailer is referring to Godzilla, the Japanese monster first appearing in the titular movie in 1954....

Lost Ark has shot to the top of Steam’s most-played charts and now holds the service’s second-largest concurrent player peak, of 1.23 million players. But this popularity has also brought problems - meaning, server queues - and developer Smilegate has announced a somewhat unexpected solution. Rather than simply adding more servers, Smilegate now plans to add an “entirely new region of servers in Europe”, which it says is necessary “due to the game’s architecture”....
