Discovered by a member of the modding community who goes by the username romulus_is_here (shortened to Romulus for this article), the quest descriptions were recently added during the 1.2 patch. Using modding tool “CP77 Tools”, Romulus has been unpacking archive data to browse quest files for some time, and told me he does this as a hobby. Romulus told me that main quests in Cyberpunk 2077 are normally split into three categories: prologue, part one and epilogue, numbered from q000 to q204....

The game, which is known as Cyberpunk 2077: Gangs of Night City - The Board Game, comes from a collaboration with CMON, whose other works include Zombicide, Blood Rage, The Others, Rising Sun, Massive Darkness and Arcadia Quest, to name but a few. It sees up to four players taking on the role of the ruthless gangs vying for control in the “glittering hellhole” of Night City (much as the name suggests)....

PUBG and New State’s October update include a “large-scale collaboration” with the fan-favourite asymmetrical horror Dead by Daylight which will launch 21st on consoles/PC and 26th October on mobile, “just in time for Halloween” and the mobile title’s first anniversary event. “One day, everything was consumed by the Fog. Just like that. Nobody knows why,” developer Krafton teases. “Expeditions were dispatched – us right now – to study and report back the buried secrets of the Fog....

Devotion will be the 11th Tome added to the narrative Archive mode that will explore the background of existing survivor David King, as well as the memories of killers The Twins. David is a fan-favourite survivor, described by developer Behaviour as a “hot-tempered ruffian with a penchant for a good scrap”. Many fans read the character as gay; now this new story content will make that a reality as his past struggles with identity are revealed....

Hellraiser’s iconic antagonist Pinhead will be joining the asymmetrical multiplayer horror as a new killer this September - following in the bloody footsteps of, among others, Halloween’s Michael Myers, Nightmare on Elm Street’s Freddy Krueger, Texas Chainsaw Massacre’s Leatherface, Saw’s Amanda Young, and Scream’s Ghost Face. The character (who can be played right now via the Dead by Daylight Player Test Build on Steam) will initially be available on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, Stadia, and PC, with a Dead by Daylight Mobile release expected “before the end of the year”....

The game will now release on 28th April, a 12 week delay from what was most recently announced. In a statement, the developer said this shift in release will give the team the extra time needed to provide a game everyone involved is “proud to launch”. The developer noted the “irony of delaying Dead Island 2” was not lost on it, stating this decision is disappointing for both the team and those looking forward to playing the game....

Season 02: Rival Escalation will arrive via Steam on 28th April and for PlayStation and Xbox on 5th May. A new, free season pass will unlock fresh cosmetic rewards for your dwarven character - including beards and helmets. A fresh seasonal event and enemy sees the game’s Rivals faction increase their attempts to out-mine you. In response, you’ll gain access to new secondary weapons - one for each player class - each with their own upgrade trees and customisation options to find....

In a tweet, the Taiwanese developer released a short clip of what looks like a 2D action game. It’s a work in progress, of course. Red Candle is best known for the superb horror game Devotion, which recently returned to sale digitally two years after it was delisted on Steam. While it requires both Strength and Dexterity stats, when it comes to high Dexterity scaling, the Bloodhound’s Fang is the best weapon to choose.
