An endless runner, the game looks to be a follow-up to Run Sackboy Run! - the PlayStation Vita and mobile game launched back in 2015. While still formally unannounced by Sony, a Google Play listing for Ultimate Sackboy on Android is already visible - though curiously this dates back to June. Indeed, versions of Ultimate Sackboy appear to have been floating around for some time, albeit via closed testing. A former Sony employee acknowledged its existance last spring, though stated at the time it was still in “early access”, with plans to also launch on iPhone in the future....

Shattered Ring - created by Dachary Carey - is currently selling on the App Store for £2.49. The press release from Tobii is short and sweet. Getting straight to the point, it states: “Tobii AB, the global leader in eye tracking and pioneer of attention computing, announces it is currently in negotiation with Sony Interactive Entertainment [to] be the eye tracking technology provider in SIE’s new VR headset, PlayStation VR2.” The release goes on to say that “Tobii is not commenting on the financial impact of the deal at this time”....

Of all the things I thought I’d learn from solo game maker Tomas Sala, the existence of muskrats wasn’t one of them. They’re real! They’re like oversized rats but with big webbed back feet for swimming through your nightmares with. And where Sala lives, near Amsterdam, they’re a big problem. Riders Republic, a spiritual successor to 2016’s underrated Steep, expands on the open-world winter sports action of that game to usher in a fuller roster of activities. A clip posted on the Warzone subreddit shows a player flying a helicopter toward’s King Kong’s giant testicles (which is easier said than done as Kong tends to crush anyone that heads towards him). If you manage to get past Kong’s attacks and reach his blind spot, you can earn a continuous stream of XP by what can only be described as grazing his balls with the helicopter blades....
