Crucially, while these events play out on the screen quite literally, they don’t always feel literally true. Majora’s Mask actually feels more like folklore: I can’t really take the events of the game at its word, but rather watch as the game moves between the real world of the narrative and something else....

The “Ice Drake” skin that turned the Krig 6 into an ice dragon went on sale yesterday as part of the NecroKing bundle, which costs 2400 COD Points (£16.79). This “mastercraft” quality weapon skin turns the Krig into an ice dragon with flapping wings, chilly visual effects and icy tracer fire. Inspect the weapon and it flies in mid-air. However, players soon realised the skin was bugged. For some players the incorrect barrel was attached, and the in-game blue glow didn’t show up....
According to Activision’s newly revealed third quarter financial results, 2023 will bring “the most robust Call of Duty live operations to date, the next full premium release in the blockbuster annual series, and even more engaging free-to-play experiences across platforms”. It’s the talk of the “next full premium release” that’s caught people’s attention, particularly in light of claims made by Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier in February that Call of Duty wouldn’t be getting a new mainline series entry in 2023 - marking the first time in just under two decades it had skipped an annual release....

Instead, any future Tomb Raider films will be a “complete reboot”, and, as it currently stands, there are “no casting or director commitments” attached.
