Following Capcom’s recent confirmation that Monster Hunter Rise would launch for PC on 12th January next year, players immediately began questioning how both versions might interact with each other. In a statement posted to the company’s social media channels, the developer acknowledged that “several issues have prevented some of you from comfortably participating in the event” following “server issues, bugs, and for console, sensitivity issues”. “These have all been very frustrating and we understand the impact that the downtimes and issues have had for many of you,” the statement admitted. “As of now, we are extending the event until 18th April to allow those that have been impacted by this some extra time to complete as much of the event as possible....

The unusual legal situation has arisen as Nintendo and the parents tussle over the latter’s ability to get the lawsuit off the ground (thanks, Axios). And, once again, it’s the notorious problem of Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controller drift at the root of the issue. The proposed lawsuit is being instigated by two mothers who bought Nintendo Switch consoles for their kids. Nintendo lawyers say the parents waived their rights to sue, per clauses in the Nintendo Switch console’s End User License Agreement (EULA)....

The news follows the recent Dragon’s Dogma livestream, in which Dragon’s Dogma 2 development was confirmed. Since then, the game has hit a new peak of 6582 concurrent players according to SteamDB. That’s the highest number of concurrent players since hitting 27,368 when it was released six years ago. Simultaneously, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade has the second highest peak for a single-player Final Fantasy game on Steam. Released on Steam on Friday last week, it’s already reached a peak of 13,803 concurrent players....

You’ll start incredibly weak, and with very little health, and considering you’re going up against hordes of infected and vicious human bandits alike, it’s a really good idea to increase your health and stamina as quickly as possible. This is done through obtaining special Inhibitors, scattered around the open world of Dying Light 2. For every three Inhibitors you procure, you’ll be able to upgrade either your health or stamina attributes by one point, forever granting protagonist Aiden a nice boost for either category....

It’s the latest in the Dynasty Warriors series known for its 1 vs 1000 musou action, now featuring more strategy in its grand battles. The demo shows off the game’s Invasion Battles and Defensive Battles. The former sees you capturing enemy castles, the latter has you defending them....
