A few days ago, a logo for the plan, which was reportedly scraped from Xbox’s backend system, surfaced online. Xbox has now made an official announcement unveiling the new plan, including details on what exactly it includes and pricing. Xbox Game Pass Friends and Family will allow up to five people to get access to all of the Game Pass Ultimate benefits, such as cloud streaming, EA Play membership and discounts on the Game Pass library....

Acknowledging that it’s “not cool” that so many games are locked to older-generation systems that some might not be able to access, studio head Atsushi Inaba said that if Nintendo could be convinced, the team would be interested in “bring[ing] over any of those titles to the newer platforms”. “It’s not cool that people aren’t able to play older games because they’re locked out of the platform, so of course if anything was possible we’d like to bring over any of those older titles to the newer platforms,” Inaba told VGC....

That’s from 27th October to 1st November, but there’s more happening in the horror game all month in its Haunted by Daylight season, including outfits and a new tome. That tome is called Malevolence and will include memories for Killer Ghost Face and Survivor Mikaela Reid. Allen recently gathered some online clout around the fact he had posted, under the alias The Real Insider, details of the various Assassin’s Creed games Ubisoft was set to announce during its event last week. How did Allen know these details? He had been pre-briefed by Ubisoft itself on the contents of its presentation under embargo - which he then promptly ignored and wrote anonymously about on the internet. That facade of anonymity slipped last night, however, when Allen appeared to respond to a follower from the wrong account - replying to a question sent to The Real Insider on Twitter using his personal handle instead....

It Takes Two, if you’re unfamiliar, follows the adventures of Cody and May, a human couple preparing to divorce, who are forced to work together after being turned into living dolls. In gameplay terms, that translates to a wonderfully inventive split-screen platformer where careful co-operation is key. And while Eurogamer’s Robert Purchase had reservations about its story in his review, he was still charmed enough by its antics to call it “a rare kind of co-op experience, with an energy and imagination and playfulness that sometimes rivals Nintendo’s....

The R1 Shadowhunter crossbow comes to Warzone and Black Ops Cold War on 24th March, when it’ll be available in base form via an in-game challenge, or available immediately to those who fork out for its Lancehead legendary blueprint via the “Archaic Range” bundle. This bundle was accidentally sold via the in-game Warzone store for 1200 COD Points (around £10) on 18th March. Players were confused, since the new weapon was not mentioned in any patch notes....

The Phalanx class, which will be available free to all players, comes equipped with a collapsible shield that effectively turns them into a mobile bunker. The trade-off, however, is that Phalanx players must rely on one-handed weapons (the other hand obviously being busy with that massive shield), and so the class comes armed with a handgun and CQW. Phalanx players also have access to a Shock Pulse ability that can be fired point-blank to disrupt swarming opponents, alongside 15 kit-specific perks, all obtainable through gameplay....

New Sever missions became available each week during Destiny 2’s Season of the Haunted, each containing their own bobblehead for you to find.
