There’s plenty of them scattered throughout Night City. Pretty much all enemies will drop them as loot upon death, but finding powerful weaponry requires some extra legwork, especially if you’re going for legendary and iconic weapons. This list includes weapons for each category that you can obtain both early and late in the game. Bear in mind that stats and rarities can differ depending on your current level when you pick some of these weapons, as well as the quantity of mod slots....

Last week, word broke that CD Projekt was now looking to settle investor complaints out of court - following several lawsuits being filed, then rolled into one. Now, it has emerged that CD Projekt will hand over just $1.85m to straighten the matter - a fraction of the $563m Cyberpunk 2077 made in sales in its launch month alone (thanks VGC). “Members of the class (including the plaintiffs) shall relinquish any and all claims against the Company and members of its Management Board,” a new statement on the settlement reads....

Provided Brick has survived in the mission, there will be a side-mission to find a way to free Brick as you complete the main task of escaping All Foods. Once you have done that, he’s not able to flee just yet - with the follow up task of disarming the trap preventing Brick’s escape. First up, it’s worth addressing the elephant in the room: Xbox Series S. There’s no dressing this one up, the junior Xbox has no graphics toggle at all and is set to simply run at a dynamic 1440p, at 30 frames per second. In pixel counts that’s actually a range of between 2304x1296, up to 2560x1440 based on my testing. Purely on a surface level here it’s a shame to see it miss out on a 60fps mode (CDPR says it’s investigating adding it) but equally, no ray tracing features are enabled either....

Ruby - who hails from Ash vs. Evil Dead - has yet to make an appearance in the main game, and her absence from the roster was a surprising omission to some given the plethora of other characters from Evil Dead stories, both old and new. Now - thanks to a second batch of datamined voice files from our hero roster - it seems like she will indeed be making an appearance, seemingly batting for the Demons in these particular scenarios, although it’s not totally beyond the realm of possibility that she may turn up as a survivor, too - hopefully we’ll get an official reveal soon....

As shared on Twitter by DBDLeaks, developer Behaviour appears to have trademarked the title Hooked On You: A Dead By Daylight Dating Sim. Filed on 16th February 2022, it’s currently unknown whether this is a brand new title, extra content for the main game, or just a joke. A dating sim would be fitting for the community though. Dead by Daylight may be a horror game, but fans just can’t stop thirsting after its suite of killers....

Debuting as a Switch exclusive in 2020, the surprise release was revealed during this year’s Future Games Showcase. The PC version offers several improvements on the console release - including higher resolution, reduced loading times and “improved performance overall”. Just as well - the Switch version was noted for its “worse” performance over the original in our Deadly Premonition 2 review, and was subsequently patched to help improve its frame rate, as well as tweak its problematic transgender content....

Developer The Chinese Room today confirmed Little Orpheus launches anew for Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam and Epic Game Store, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on 1st March. Originally launched in 2020 for Apple’s game subscription service, Little Orpheus was well-received for its wacky Soviet space program adventure inspired by Flash Gordon. Unlike The Chinese Room’s other releases, this is not a walking sim. Improved textures, animations and all episodes of the original release are included in this new version....

Five years and many, many delays later, Skull and Bones is on the cusp of release, with a launch date now set for 8th November on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. So how have things changed in all that time? Well, honestly, after having seen a near-release version in action during a recent press preview, it’s hard to say. Despite Ubisoft at one point insisting development had been rebooted to accommodate a “new vision” as it “dreamt of something bigger” for the project, Skull and Bones 2022 looks an awful lot like Skull and Bones as presented in 2017 - offering, just as originally pitched, a combat-focused, almost exclusively ocean-bound online multiplayer twist on Black Flag’s piratical core, albeit now with a seemingly greater emphasis on PvE....

Lightfall, which was initially announced back in June 2020, will be Destiny 2’s penultimate expansion, coming between this year’s The Witch Queen and the game’s finale expansion The Final Shape. As such, Bungie is calling it the “beginning of the end”, and it continues an escalating narrative that will bring Destiny’s Light and Darkness Saga to a close. It finally gives a name and a face to Destiny 2’s much-teased big bad, The Witness, and will take players to Neptune’s capital city....

As with previous years, it centres around oven cookie recipes, each requiring ingredients before you can cook them - all of which are generated by killing different things with specific methods. Creating different recipes is all part of several questlines, including the Cookie Delivery Helper quest, which can help you upgrade your oven.
