As spotted by Kotaku, at least two players who were streaming the game were put into jail by moderators. It follows a lengthy blog post from game director and producer Naoki Yoshida earlier this week, stating that players caught using third-party tools would be reprimanded. “Players who are determined to be using third-party tools will have their accounts suspended, or permanently banned for repeat offenses,” said Yoshida. The PC version of FIFA 23 is the same as the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S and Google Stadia versions, EA confirmed today. That means FIFA 23 on PC benefits from all the new HyperMotion 2 (yes, FIFA features have sequels now) gameplay, new animations and graphics improvements. EA has faced a backlash from PC gamers in recent years. With last year’s game, FIFA 22, the PC version as well as the PS4 and Xbox One versions (and Nintendo Switch, of course) missed out on what EA called “HyperMotion” gameplay....

The two-and-a-half-minute footage shows an in-game scene with a character who looks a lot like Margaret Qualley - someone fans will recognise from her role as Mama in Kojima’s previous game Death Stranding. The video looks as if it was originally designed for internal use, as it also features a feed of someone apparently playing the scene. All of this has then been videoed by someone else, off of a very reflective screen which shows the man taping the footage to be lying in bed half-naked....

Originally announced last summer, Pokémon Unite pits two squads of five players against one another, battling it out in an arena threaded with control points to secure. As a match plays out, Pokémon are able to level up, unlocking new moves as they do so. Following the launch of Pokémon Unite’s closed beta, GoNintendo has been rounding up the various bits of footage to make it online so far. The bundle - which includes Oddword: New’n’Tasty, Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee, and Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath - was announced on 1st April, leaving some fans uncertain if the news was real or an elaborate April’s Fool joke, particularly as all games are already available separately on the Nintendo eShop.
