Action shown in tonight’s reveal trailer took our follicly-challenged hero in Dubai. IO said it’ll act as the end of their current trilogy of Hitman titles. Here’s a first tease:
Set roughly six months after Horizon: Zero Dawn, Aloy now has to venture across the western frontier in search of a cure to the blight which threatens to end all life on Earth. Set in Iraq during the latter days of its most recent US invasion, this third standalone horror chapter is a claustrophobic monster story with a modern war backdrop: The Descent by way of Zero Dark Thirty. Its cast of characters is led by CIA operative Rachel King, played by Ashley Tisdale, who arrives in Iraq as part of a bungled raid to find chemical weapons. Another playable character, Salim Othman, is a local Iraqi soldier....
Returnal sees Housemarque moving away from the small but perfectly formed arcade experiences that have earned the studio huge acclaim over the years, and instead opts for something a little more blockbuster in outlook. The end result, which follows space scout protagonist Selene as she attempts to escape a hellish loop of endless resurrection while stranded on a deadly planet at the edge of the galaxy, blends third-person action and platform elements with a strong focus on narrative....
Along with Legendary Gems, Charms require a lot of grinding and luck to get the best one for your class and build in Diablo Immortal. So unless you’re playing on Hell 1 or above, it’s best to ignore Charms at the beginning of the game. To get the most out of a build in the endgame, however, you’re going to need to know what to do with Charms and Skill Stones, and how to get and upgrade Charms....

And both those things I only thought I knew. So I gave Wrecking Crew a toot, and I am here to tell you that you should also give Wrecking Crew a toot, if you haven’t already. It’s an absolute charmer....

Though details are light, it will focus on a specific district of Night City and continue V’s story with a new cast and plot. The news came from the Edgerunners Special livestream, where further details on the game were given. South Korean media outlet Bloter spotted job adverts on Krafton’s website for an “open-world shooting game” that will release on console and PC as an independent title (via Google Translate). Krafton apparently told Bloter that “Project Cowboy is a new IP game for Battleground developed by Krafton”. PUBG dataminer PlayerIGN described it as “PUBG’s western custom mode” with “old west guns only”. Eurogamer contacted Krafton for comment, and was told the company has “nothing to share on Project Cowboy as of now”....

The original Maid of Sker took its cue from Welsh folklore - retelling the supposedly true tale of Elizabeth Williams, said to have have died of a broken heart after being locked inside her home by her controlling father - and spun it into an richly atmospheric, if ultimately rather unadventurous slice of 19th stealth horror. Follow-up Sker Ritual is quite a departure, however, switching out the methodical sneaking of its predecessor in favour of co-operative FPS action for up to four players as they try and “survive the onslaught and supernatural menace of the Quiet Ones”....
On one hand, it’s a wonderfully accessible adventure wrapped up in family-friendly packaging, with an action-packed storyline that takes you on a delightful voyage through some of the galaxy’s most colourful climes. On the other, it boasts an aggressively complex combat system that requires a high degree of digit-dexterity and rarely forgives your mistakes. On a third hand (well, we’re literally in alien territory here, so indulge me), the game routinely pastes together blistering action sequences with monotonous walk-down-this-corridor scenes, rambling exposition, and a generous dollop of tedious teamster “banter” on the side....

Naturally, the same heads-up is given before you start playing, but in many ways this is something that goes beyond a content warning. My immediate response to Milky Way Prince, after finishing it in a single grim sitting, was to wonder why this game exists - why anyone, in fact, even ought to play it. Even beyond its unpleasantness, Milky Way Prince’s depiction is aggressively literal. Plonked into first-person you experience all of this game directly, leaving something that, at your least generous, you could describe as a three-hour trauma simulator....
Sunbreak will, we’re told, pick up immediately following the resolution of the base game’s Rampage storyline, with the expansion’s new story arc kicking into gear when previously revealed new monster Lunagaron - plus Dame Fioyrane, a royal knight from a distant kingdom - are sighted in Rise’s familiar Shrine Ruins area. Capcom reminds players that Sunbreak can be accessed after completing the 7-star hub quest Serpent Goddess of Thunder in the base game and that a selection of powerful support items are now available to players via a recent free update should they want to accelerate their progress in preparation for the expansion....

Really, it’s a game for people who like fun, campy, melodrama alongside their speedrunning. In a video preview of the game, Esposito describes Neon White as a speedrunning first person shooter meets visual novel that’s “nostalgic but not in a superficial way”. “We really wanted to make a game that felt cool and it really felt like the self-indulgent Y2K anime game of our dreams,” he says. Rather than subvert expectations and shy away from obvious cringeworthy tropes, Esposito and the team have leaned into them....
Users are now being urged to change their password for Neopets and any sites that use their Neopets password. On Wednesday, community site Jellyneo revealed that Neopets is actively being hacked. With help from an anonymous tip, they discovered the database and source code for Neopets was being sold on a hacker website. The seller was offering this access to buyers for 4 Bitcoin, which at the time of the breach was revealed was worth around $94,500....
