Full Circle is based in Vancouver, Canada, and is led by Daniel McCulloch, former head of Xbox Live at Microsoft. EA said Deran Chung and Cuz Parry, two of the creators of the original Skate games, have joined Full Circle to work on this new entry in the series. “The fans wished Skate back into existence and we want them involved in the process from development to game launch and beyond,” McCulloch said....
EA and developer Maxis’ decision to skip the Russian market rather than be forced to compromise its vision regarding the wedding expansion’s heavy focus on LGBT+ couple Camille and Dominique was initially welcomed - but confusion, and then anger, quickly set in among The Sims 4’s Russian player base. Some asked why Russia had been singled out when other countries with equally prohibitive anti-LGBT+ laws had not, but the most commonly cited point of confusion was the simple fact that Russia’s laws - supposedly designed to protect children from homosexual content - don’t apply to games rated 18+, as is the case with The Sims 4 in the region....
The discourse around the game and its steep challenge is never ending, but for those who want a breezier adventure the Easy Mode for Elden Ring mod exists to make the game easier “for angry Gamers”. In retaliation, a Prepare To Die (Hard Mode) mod also exists, with its creator stating “I got sick of seeing all of these ’easy mode’ mods being pumped out every other day so I made this mod instead....
You don’t have to be a caster to use magic, as some of the best melee weapons in Elden Ring are also magic-based, which require you to invest in Intelligence or Faith points. The Sword of Night and Flame is the best of both, as its name suggests, able to inflict both magic and fire damage. It does, however, require an equally significant amount of Intelligence and Faith, although you should at least have enough Strength and Dexterity from your starting class....
The most immediate change to exploration will come in the number of landable planets available in Odyssey, with Frontier anticipating around a 20% increase based on its own tests in a limited number of regions. Scale that out to Elite Dangerous’ entire procedural galaxy, however, and the number of traversable worlds will increase to “billions”. Notably, however, not all planets will be fit for disembarkation. Frontier confirms players won’t be able to leave their ship to go a-wandering if the temperature and gravity of the environment outside is so extreme as to be completely unsurvivable....

Originally scheduled for last year, Changing Tides is the sequel to Far: Lone Sails developed by Okomotive and published by Frontier Foundry, the games label of Frontier Developments. The game will hit Game Pass on day one for Xbox owners, and will also be available on PlayStation and PC (via Windows, Epic and Steam). Nintendo will have pre-orders available from February. Whether it’ll be able to compete with Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 3, which is out on PS2 this Friday (with some stores shipping early, we hear) and PC on November 7th, is another matter entirely. Fans poking around in Fortnite’s game files have known this crossover was coming for some time. Today, Epic Games - fresh from its two-week summer break - began teasing the collaboration. Fortnite’s Dragon Ball event is expected to be a big one, with numerous characters coming to the game as skins, alongside weeks of tie-in challenges. It’s all due to kick off next week, on 16th August, when Fortnite’s next big update is set to release....

February’s members-only character is Vi, a member of the Fox Clan - Fortnite’s new name for its various Kitsune mask-wearing characters such as OG season five mascot and fan-favourite Drift. Vi’s set includes the usual character skin, back bling and pickaxe, now all with two detailed styles. There’s also a wrap (a weapon skin) and a loading screen - new items not included in previous monthly offerings. Vi’s reveal was teased yesterday afternoon via a string of odd social media posts and a faux takeover of the game’s official Twitter - all of which was later scrubbed from existence (again, all part of the game’s narrative)....
Just like Deadpool and Aquaman, the Wolverine skin, and it’s associated rewards, is unlocked by completing a set of special Wolverine challenges, which you’ll gradually unlock throughout the season. You even have the chance to unlock the Classic Wolverine variant. Wolverine joins fellow mutants, Storm and Mystique, as Marvel skins that you can unlock as part of the Fortnite Season 4 Battle Pass.
