Samurai Shodown 64 is a December 1997 fighting game released for the Hyper Neo Geo 64, the arcade system created by SNK as the successor to the Neo Geo MVS. The Hyper Neo Geo 64 was meant to herald SNK’s emergence into the new era of 3D gaming that emerged in the mid-’90s, but it failed to find an audience and reached the end of its life just two years later in 1999 with only seven games under its belt....

Last month, Blizzard’s Albany-based band of Diablo testers formally won the right to form a union following a months-long process. Ballots were subsequently sent out, with the result due to be announced on 18th November. Now, Activision Blizzard has entered a motion to impound those ballots, GamesIndustry.biz reports. The company’s top brass is currently appealing the Diablo testers’ ability to unionise, and claims any announcement of the results would prejudice future results....

That’s according to the Wall St Journal, and sources with knowledge of Activision Blizzard’s recent plans. Kotick apparently suggested the idea to “change the public narrative” surrounding Activision Blizzard, following months of media coverage of the company’s culture, history of sexual harassment allegations, and subsequent employee protests. Activision has denied the report, while Kotaku owner G/O Media declined to comment. “This is an awfully strong reaction to us giving the last Call of Duty a 60,” global editor-in-chief of PC Gamer Evan Lahti told Eurogamer in response....

This latest complaint, filed in Los Angeles by a former employee of the company referred to as Jane Doe, targets both the Call of Duty maker itself and the employee’s former manager, Miguel Vega. Doe is seeking unspecified compensatory and punitive damages against the company and her ex-manager. In addition to this, Doe has demanded the removal of Bobby Kotick as CEO, as part of the lawsuit. The lawsuit states that Doe first met Vega in either 2009 or 2010 at a game night....

Following the recent Letter from the Producer, in which Yoshida confirmed a graphical update was in the works, he’s been interviewed by the Japanese press - as translated by Twitter user Aitai Kimochi.
