Following a four-week election process, should the majority of workers support unionisation, Microsoft, who purchased Zenimax for $7.5bn in 2021, will recognise the union. The company has also pledged to remain neutral throughout this process. “We applaud Microsoft for remaining neutral through this process and letting workers decide for themselves whether they want a union,” said CWA president Christopher Shelton. The new multiplayer content launched this week, but fans have been unhappy with various changes and updates. Head creative Joseph Staten acknowledged fan feedback on Twitter: “Hey Spartans, this week has been bumpy. Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards is the latest N64 game to have been released on the Nintendo Online Expansion Pass. Originally released in 2000, it’s a 2.5D side-scrolling platformer featuring Kirby’s copy abilities, which can be combined into Power Combos, and it joined the Nintendo Switch Online’s library of classic games just yesterday. However, according to Redditor Keyblademasternadroj, there’s a bug in underwater levels that “causes you to enter hit stun forever” that can only be rectified by quitting the game....

The Steam launch marks the first time ArenaNet’s Guild Wars 2, which launched a decade ago on 28th August 2012, is available on a third-party platform. Players on both Steam and the NCSoft first-party Guild Wars 2 client will be able to play together on the same servers, NCSoft confirmed. To coincide with the launch, a new content bundle will be available for Steam players: the Guild Wars 2 Complete Collection....

The move will double the number of women on Activision’s board to four. Eight men are currently board members, though two are due to stand down this year. Lulu Cheng Meservey, currently an exec at newsletter firm Substack, will join the Activision Board immediately.
