Developer Supergiant Games’ Hades came out top in this year’s Best Game category, winning out against Half-Life: Alyx, Ghost of Tsushima, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It was also hailed as the winner in categories for Narrative, Game Design, and Artistic Achievement, while Logan Cunningham (who voices Hades, Poseidon, Achilles, and many more in the game) took home the top prize as Performer in a Supporting Role. The Last of Us Part 2, meanwhile, also had a big night; it was named the EE Game of the Year (a category voted for by the public), took home the prize in the Animation category, and Laura Bailey was named Performer in a Leading Role category for her portrayal of Abby....

This is the “new way to play with each other in MCC” 343 teased last week. In a post on Halo Waypoint, 343 said it plans to roll out its next public flight as early as Thursday, 18th February, and a custom game browser is on the list of included features. While there’s no officially sanctioned way to join a pal in Halo Infinite for its story campaign - right now, we have to wait to at least May 2022 before the functionality is rolled out - players have discovered a new exploit, albeit one with very limited features and the extraordinarily strong possibility you’ll lose your progress to date. We saw glimpses of the game’s Breath of the Wild-like open world, including a ubiquitous shot stood on a cliff. There was also combat against a giant dragon, and a friendlier encounter with a creature that looked like a giant cooking pot. We got a look at Elden Ring’s expansive map, which lets you use markers to note where enemies or points of interest might lie. Beacons placed on the map will show up in-game, as a visual guide to where you’re headed....

This new type of challenge will provide a literal checklist of Pokémon species to snag within a limited event window, with some more difficult to find than others. Collection challenges will live within Pokémon Go’s Today screen, designating them as Timed Research. There will also be a new profile medal - Elite Collector - for completing various ones.
