The consoles have been in short supply since launch and demand is only going to increase as we hit Christmas. As reported by The Sun, three jumbo jets full of consoles have arrived in the UK over the last week, with another two planned before the middle of November. Currently, the Stadia controller can only be used through Stadia, which itself is only compatible with a limited number of devices. Rather than being left with electronic waste, players are asking Google to update the controller so it can still be used once the service is discontinued. Valve first discussed its Steam Deck Verified initiative back in October, announcing it had started reviewing the entire Steam catalogue to create a new compatibility ratings system - labelling games as either Verified, Playable, Unsupported, or Unknown - that would provide Steam Deck users with a simple means of checking how games will function on their system. I’ll always have a place in my heart for Super Mario 3D World: it mixes full 3D movement and exploration with a more linear stage design. Nightdive initially announced System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition back in 2019, and while the studio is yet to confirm the exact enhancements it’ll feature on release, we do know it’ll include improvements to co-op play and employ the same engine used to create its enhanced version of System Shock 1 - which added the likes of 4K support, achievements, and improved controls. As for VR support, that was teased back in January, when, after a period of silence regarding System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition’s progress, Nightdive finally popped up on Twitter to assure fans of the project’s continued existence, and, more surprisingly, to reveal video footage of what appeared to be work-in-progress VR support....

So what’s new, exactly? Let’s start with a little history first. Last year, in an article by Japanese news site Nikkan Taishu, it was revealed that Sega wished to publish the Judgment games on PC through Steam but were being blocked by actor Takuya Kimura’s management agency. Kimura plays private investigator Takayuki Yagami, the main character of the Judgment games. Sega was reportedly prepared to leave the Judgment series behind after Lost Judgment due to fears that without Kimura’s presence, it’d lose a huge amount of business from the PC gaming sector....
